The 3 Mistakes Of My Life Summary

This is the novel by the best-selling author Chetan Bhagat. This is not an admiring story with lots of twists and turns, instead, it is a feel-good story. Govind’s character inspires us a lot with his dream big attitude, his business thinking, and bringing mathematics everywhere he could do. What Govind thinks with his business mindset is the actual fun in this story.

This is the story of three friends — Govind, Ish, and Omi. The story starts with the suicide of the hero and the young businessman Govind.

Our hero aims to own a business. Since he is very good at mathematics, he takes maths tutions and he is the good maths tutor in Ahmedabad. He starts a sports store with his other two friends and makes a good amount of profit. He aims to move the store to the mall which is in the city center. He paid advance with all his income from his business for three years and a certain loan. Meanwhile, he teaches Ish’s sister, Vidya.

Unfortunately due to the earthquake, the mall vanishes. Three years of his savings in business went inside the soil and he is loaded with debts. The entire world will become blank when one loses a child. One who lost in business will feel exactly the same. Vidya helps him to recover and they fell in love with each other. Soon he comes back and repaid the debts. Ish started cricket coaching for Ali, who has some special talents in cricket.

There was a Hindu- Muslim fight and Hindu people wanted to kill Ali since he is a Muslim kid. They have already killed Ali’s parents. Three friends saved Ali from huge risks. Ish came to know about Govind’s love with Vidya and stopped talking with Govind. Ali needed surgery on the wrist and Ish saved money for that. After three years, Govind met Ish and gave 3 Lakhs for Ali’s operation, but Ish won’t accept. Govind got upset and committed suicide. At last, Ish and Vidya came to see Govind in hospital. Ali got treatment for his wrist and do good batting. Ish accepted their love.

And as expected, its a happy ending!!!
